He got the balance right between showing us what to do and how to do it better, and letting us enjoy ourselves. My husband booked for us to try shooting and axe throwing at Ewelme Sporting as a surprise for my birthday and all in all it was a blissful Spring Friday. George is a friendly, generous and patient instructor who really knows his stuff and encouraged us novices with tips and insights that were helpful and straight-forward. The site set up is straight forward, with a lovely lodge and outdoor patio area and we even got to be nosy and check out the safari glamping which looked great fun and well looked after. The location was easy enough to find and as it's set in Berkshire countryside the views are peaceful when you are out and about in the fields for the activities.
